Nightfall by Issac Asimov. Should I read the short story or book first?

I have the short story nightfall by Issac Asimov and the full length book Nightfall by Issac Asimov and Robert Silverberg. I know the short story was written and published much earlier than the book, but I am wondering if there is anyone out there who has read both and thinks that the reading experience is enhanced by reading them in a certain order. Will I get more out of the book if I read the story first? Will certain things in the book be spoiled if I read the story first? Any suggestions?
