Which major would you reccommend for a magazine/media career/job? an english major, or a communications major?

i am already majoring in graphic design w/marketing...however thining about double majoring...want a major that will enhance options. i want a career in magazine/media/advertising/marketing...i dont know...what would you recommend...graphic design w/marketing and english or graphic design w/marketing and communications??? please help...appreciate it! thanks
