Is anyone in the CCP listening to the words of Taiwan's President Ma?

I do not know what the CCP think of this BUT if they ever thought there would come a day that Taiwan would reach out a hand to the CCP in the form of both countries doing what is right. Then today is the day for the CCP to stand up, do the right thing even if it hurts and shoulder the wrongs of the past and ask Taiwan to come to Beijing to celebrate the release of these people. Would this be right? By whose standards would you say? There is nothing wrong in what Ma ask, maybe some would see nothing right but there is NOTHING wrong. Would this be a step in the same direction as the Chinese on the island of Taiwan? YES! Would it help in the bringing together these two peoples? YES! Is there a downside to this gesture? NO! Ma may have opened a door for the CCP to use in the building of better ties with Taiwan......does the CCP have the backbone to use this gesture and keep this door open for the future?
